I'm setting up a new daytrading account with SpeedTrader. I've read the reviews and like the commission rate of .0039 for stocks (I mostly trade scalp style in 100 share blocks which makes the .39 per 100 shares very attractive). I have heard good things about DAS Trader Pro. I use Etrade Pro. (P.S. I spoke w/ a rep and she indicated that I would need to set up a separate account if I wanted a flat rate commission structure to trade penny stocks (i.e. ~6.95/transactions) which I eventually intend to do.
My question is what are your thoughts on DAS Trader Pro versus Equity Feed versus Etrade Pro? Do you use Equity Feed? I hear the EF scanners and news features are great. Etrade Pro's strategy scanner works well for me, but I would like something a little more in depth. I also understand that EF will be linking its platform to additional brokers soon (currently you can use Equity Feed for TDA). How is the EF and DAS Level 2 and scanners, Quote Montage Window, Trade Execution, Hot Keys, etc. Thanks for any of your input.
Cheers,
redman
